So I think I have a bad Y axis stepper driver but wanted to get a second opinion from the group. Is there something I have overlooked?

Seems like good diagnosis. Did you contact support? Please update here if you get any more info.
Yeah I just heard back from support they suspect the same thing and the board is outside of the warranty period.
I guess I have to go shopping.
