Tally of Shipped Machines

Hi Guys, what are the chances that backer #210 will be unwrapping a great Christmas gift? Thanks for all the hard work you are putting into this.

@chrismakesstuff I am backer #90 but changed the machine size two weeks ago. Did I end up at the end of the list?

I’ll take a look into it and get back to you @GertJan

Well his question worked out well! Given that, I’d like to try… What about those of us in the 350 neighborhood? Any chance before NYE?

I don’t know if you heard but they changed the way numbers go. Now it goes 193, 194, 321, 195, 196, etc.

Should I be worried if you already marked my backer number as shipped in this thread, but I have not received an email or notification?

@mfgnerd Looking at our packing list I can see your machine has been assembled and is ready to go, I think Ikenna should get to sending you a notification in the next few days on the machine status and tracking #

@jwoody18 Haha the question was asked and the stack of boxes happened to be sitting right next to me, what are the odds? Right now the aim is to ship all Kickstarter orders by the end of next week, then to have 50-ish of the website orders fulfilled the week after that before we all collapse from exhaustion to take some time to recuperate over the holidays. If your order doesn’t fall within that range then you’ll be looking to receive in the New Year. Maybe cross your fingers and toes for 353, eh?

@Sanityfree ah yes, for a brief moment there I must’ve forgotten how to count

machine or backer #?

OOkay, I just realized that I may have formatted this in a way which is confusing and possibly misleading. The Kickstarter backer numbers go up to #341 but only account for about 303 machines sold, so when I added the numbered list of website orders above I thought I’d start at #304 and go forwards from there. This will probably lead to a period of confusion where I say that ā€œwe’ve shipped machines up to #320ā€ (for example) and it won’t be clear whether that’s the backer # or the machine #. I think to combat this I’ll put out an official announcement once the Kickstarter orders have been fulfilled, so that everyone will know that we’ve now moved on to fulfilling website orders. I hope this clears everything up :+1:

I’m #331 on the list above, crossing my fingers for my Christmas present…

@chrismakesstuff just parsing what you said there, going to take a stab at rephrasing it to make sure I got it…

The first post (currently) says you are at backer #247. Web orders (like mine :)) start at 304. However, the first web order (#304 in the first post) is NOT 57 units away from 304 shipping (304-247=57). Instead, we can’t quite divine the actual number of units required to ship between backer 247 and back 341, with back 341 representing the end of the backers. And the reason we can’t is that there may or may not be (341-247=94) 94 units between them as some backers canceled and there may be parts orders wedged in between full system orders.

Given all this, the most conservative distance would still be 94 units required if every order between the 247 current and 341 last backer must be fulfilled before web order #304 (from the list in post one, not the invoice #) is fulfilled.

Did I get that right?

Assuming so, if you pile on another 53 this week (fingers crossed its a bit more) that takes you to 300 or max 341 backer machines. Next week would take you to ~completion of those, perhaps even better if all #'s aren’t full machines. And perhaps a few of the early web orders will make it. Am I in the right general area?

Yes you’re correct Jeff. One thing that I can clarify is that even though it’s not clear on your end how many machines are left to ship between #247 and #341, I can say that that amount is about 75. Since we are on track to ship 75 more units this week, this would mean that we should be completed the Kickstarter orders by the end of this week (with maybe the stragglers heading out at the start of next week). This should allow use to have at least the first 30 website orders ready and shipped by the end of next week :+1:

Great, thank you.

If the logistics gods are smiling on you and it was possible to get, oh, I don’t know, 50 of the web orders out, do you have all the materials on hand?
