Using g-Sender 1.5.7 0n Window 11 Get disconnected Sometimes

Using g-Sender with a Windows 11 laptop. Been getting disconnected (g-Sender disconnects from the controller), need to turn off the controller then turn it back on in order to re-connect. Would this most likely be an issue my PC? Or could this be usb connection interference?

Are there any “barebones” pc’s that are better for controlling the longmill?

Thank you for any help/advice.

Tony

Is something going to sleep? Is the USB connected directly to the controller? Do you have different USB cable you can try? Are you able to try using ethernet? Ethernet connection is generally considered more reliable than USB.

Thank you. Yes, the USB cable goes directly to the controller. I’ll need a wifi dongle to connect to the usb port of the controller. That could be an option.

Thanks very much.

Recently, after changing my LongMill PC I organized the cables and had disconnects for the first time ever. I routed the USB cable away from everything else and that solved the problem. I think the problem was I zip tied the USB to the E-Stop cable close to the controller but it could of been something else. I’ve upgraded to the SLB so I have the newer E-Stop with the 3 programmable buttons.

Depending on your cable routing it could be that simple.
