When i down load to gsinder my project is the size of postage stamp and not the 20 inches needed help

i have a new updated Gsinder program i save my stuff in the tool path save to a file
i open that file in gsender and it opens at the X and Y middle the size of a postage stamp
less than tht 1X -1X 1Y -1Y postage stamp size

the rest or the story i just upgraded to the new gsender from 1 i received a few years ago
i could not just up grade but deleted and replace with new i have the long mill MK2 30x30 and a old copy of Aspier from v carve 2015 year year so i believe i changed some thing in the new gsender program but not to sure what thank you all i am 12 hours ahead of usa in the phillipines

Can this be a inch to mm setting somewhere?
Say, You think you designed in inches but it’s actualy in mm?

That would give instant stamped size projects.

Maybe look into your aspire settings?

@capthjoe Welcome to the group, Joseph.

I have moved your topic to the Vectric category, where I believe it more appropriately belongs. I am sure that you will get sound advice to address your issue.

Thank you sir,
i am new to chat and forums and i may be in a different time zone.

@capthjoe Don’t concern yourself about time zone differences. There are people here from all over the world. :grinning:

What post processor are you using in Aspire?

so basically when i load it in aspire to the gsender and the toolpath becomes the size of a postage stamp, enclose are some screenshots of the setting in gsender and aspire. the rest of the story is the aspire is 2014 version 4.5 and the gsender is the latest update. and i believe the firmware is not set correctly. thank you captnjoe

@capthjoe I have not taken the time to really study all your post, but I can see immediately that you are using the wrong post processor in Aspire. You should be using either grbl mm or grbl inch. You are using g code inch. The correct post will write a .gcode file, not a .tap file.

Also, it’s unclear what you want the final project to look like. You have set a profile toolpath to cut on the line. That is unusual when the project is text. Can you explain what you are trying to do?

Edit: I would suggest that you reset your firmware to default settings to get you started. First, export what you now have so that if the reset messes things up, you can re-import your current settings. Then click on the “restore defaults” button. When you’v done that, click on the “apply settings” button. Then, close gSender and cycle the controller.

Finally, you can post your .crv3d file here is you like. Others here are running Aspire and they may be able to find issues with your file.

Thank you very much sir.
The files i sent just were something fast just to sea if the size was going back to real time size.
My system is 4.5 Vectic Aspire 2014 That a friend gave to me. (not up gradable) I had something set up in the Post Processor that was equal to the grbl inch. In fact 3 weeks back I made my test project it was very nice . At that time i had an 2022 older gsender program that program says update now . we could not update so we deleted that file and downloaded the all new version.

So if you know of a grbl inch from 10 years back i will try that next
and if all fails i will make payments on V carve pro than all should match up.
thank you for time sir Captnjoe

Hey Capthjoe,

I’m curious, what are the settings on your job size?

Could you provide a screenshot of your settings clicking this icon:
afbeelding
What are your Job size settings and units in the screen here?

Could you provide measurements on your tekst using this icon:
afbeelding

(it might be slightly different in your version but I hope you can find the icon you can do this with:

Let’s see what the dimensions are in aspire. If they are already small in Aspire, Gsender is not the problem.

Let’s home in on where the problem is.

@capthjoe There is no attached file.

As for an older post processor, I do not have access to one. You could write to Vectric. It may well be that the current grbl inch or grbl mm post processor will work with your older Aspire. You have nothing to lose by trying that. The one that you are now using is not the correct one for the Long Mill controller.

@Spamming_Eddie 's questions could lead to the solution. I would bet that gSender is not the issue here. It merely runs whatever code it is sent. The solution will be in getting the code to be correct.

Hey Joseph,

I found a topic that got solved pretty much simular to your issue. Hope it can point you in the right direction.
