Why E-stop location on side?

Every time you startup on my AltMill you have to press the e-stop (sometimes multiple times because I must not get it turned and released correctly). Its default location on the top left side of left table leg seems inconvenient since there are also the cables coming down from the motors.

Since I’m really new to this is there a reason why I wouldn’t move the sienci VFD to a different location and put the e-stop where it was in the front where it would be easy to access? Can the VFD and e-stop locations simply be swapped or will the mounting brackets not work for that?

@DavidB not only is the e-stop at an inconvenient location at startup, it’s at a worse location if you actually need to use it as an emergency stop.

I moved my SLB to the front so that I can easily access the power switch. I have my e-stop on top of my gSender touchscreen.

Thanks for that thread. I just tried moving it to the right leg like somebody showed in that thread and that works. There is even a mounting plate that was included with my AltMill as well as extra nuts. Just could use some more cable support otherwise think Sienci should really recommend putting it there when they provide you the hardware to do so already.
