I had an older 3018 CNC sitting around I hadn’t used in quite a while, so I decided to convert it into a plotter (not that I need a plotter, but it seemed amusing to do so). I designed the penholder in FreeCAD and 3D printed it. Inkscape isn’t the greatest tool for generating gcode, so I used Vectric Desktop to design a simple test file. GSender worked just fine in controlling it, once I remembered that the 3018 needs to be connected AFTER the controller program is open in order to be seen.
