On my Altmill, when I jog the X-axis, I hear a period rubbing/grinding sound. When powered off, I can turn the ballscrew a half rotation very smoothly, but then it starts getting tight. I have only started using the machine. Is there something I should be adjusting? It was jogging very smoothly yesterday. Thanks!

I just pulled my X-axis motor and I found some metal shaving in the black circular hole. I think the coupler wasn’t set right (as mentioned in the assembly guide). I can’t find a replacement motor on the website. Thanks.
@jseng Was the motor damaged?
I readjusted the coupler and it seems to be working again without the grinding. I tried to clean up all the metal shavings (I think it was from the motor).
