X Axis Stalling only when Y-Axis is also moving

Hello,

I just received my LongMill Mk2 30X48 and have assembled it and adjusted everything. I thought I was all good and was ready to start on my spoil board, etc.

Then I noticed that while the X-Axis jogs fine by itself, as does the Y-Axis, but when trying to move diagonally, the X-Axis stalls.

Does anyone know what might cause such a symptom? It seems like the X-Axis is not getting sufficient power when the X-Axis is moving, but I don’t know what I can do to resolve.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Jason,

Welcome on the forum and congrats on getting your awesome machine. Unfortunatly there are always a few hurdles to jump before we can move into the fun part of having an awesome machine.
Luckaly for us siencioi provides an enormous amount of info and backup to go through and help us pinpoint a problem.

You can find this info here.

Though it is frustrating to have a hickup, the troubleshooting is not something you stand alone in. If you can’t tackle the problem using the elaborate sienci library, you can always open a ticket and get backup from the smarts at sienci.

I hope you can get your problem sorted soon and start showing of your projects.
