AltMill spindle question. Seems the spindle has decided to NOT spin. Yes, I’ve “power cycled” … restarted the entire machine, restarted the computer running gSender (1.5.6), reconnected but I can’t get it to spin up. I’ve done this twice now after breaking two bits when the project started but the spindle didn’t spin up. Worked fine yesterday … all wiring and harnesses are connected. Need some advice! The gSender panel indicates that the SPINDLE is ON but it’s definitely not. Reset the Z axis up in the air high above the project and everything acts normal and it goes through all the motions except the spindle isn’t spindling. I’m not all that technically inclined here so if you have some idea, dumb it down on what to do please!
@Ron0126 What spindle do your have? Does the VFD show power into it?
I’m using the Sienci spindle 1.5 kw. It’s lit up like there’s power.
