My Gcontrol is is constantly flickering about every 3 seconds. Its driving me nuts. Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you rectify this problem?

Hi Eddie,
Is it correct to assume this is an early model gcontrol? I seem to recall there being a few cases with case screws being too long and breaking the backlight of early units, but need to dive deeper to find the topics that discussed this problem.
Could be your unit has the same problem but in a milder form that is just now surfacing.
Here’s the topic and solution to that specific problem.
It is the first model gcontrol. I want to say about 3 years old. It has never been a problem until a couple weeks ago. It started flickering/distortion on the screen. I have contacted Seinci and sent them a video. I am waiting to hear back from them.
I like that the gcontrol doesn’t have a fan and is touch screen but this is annoying the heck out of me. The computer is still useable. Just the flickering and it is hard to focus on and execute what you want to do. I will look into the other problem. Thanks for the help Eddie.

I had this issue right at the beginning. Sienci replaced the gControl unit and everything has been fine since.
Well Eddie that wasn’t the problem. I must have the 2nd generation gcontrol. I hope I don’t have to get the 3rd generation.
@Edward-Bigham if you have an extra monitor lying around, see if you can connect it via HDMI. If it works fine, it might be a problem with the monitor of the gControl.
That’s one of the issues with integrated systems. One component fails and you have to replace the entire unit.
